Demolition Begins at 17 Columbus Court: A Focus on Safety and Sustainability

The demolition phase at 17 Columbus Court, for our client Morgan Sindall Group plc is officially underway, marking a significant step in the building’s transformation.

A key highlight was the arrival of City Lifting Limited mobile crane, which commenced the delicate and precise removal of the building’s facade. We are particularly excited to track and report on the carbon emissions savings achieved by recycling the glass back into the construction process with our trusted supplier Saint-Gobain. This initiative reflects a growing industry-wide push towards sustainable demolition practices and a circular economy.

Stay tuned for further updates on the demolition progress and the measured carbon emissions savings as we continue to recycle materials from 17 Columbus Court. We are committed to keeping you informed as we continue our journey towards a more sustainable future.
