This project was secured via a two stage procurement route and the Design & Build contract converted an existing office building into a mixed use scheme largely consisting of Student Accommodation (44 study/ bedroom units).

Integral to the conversion were major structural alterations including underpinning and new R.C. foundations, major demolition and reconstruction of lift and stair cores, structural steel strengthening and two additional floors were added to the original roof level. The site was land-locked on three sides and was constructed whilst keeping neighbouring businesses and the renowned Central School of Ballet fully operational yet less than 6m away door to door. Pre-fabricated shower pods were incorporated into the fitting out, which also included full mechanical and electrical services and fit out commensurate to the operational use. Commercial of ce space to CAT A were provided to the basement and ground floor areas.
