This design & build project was secured via a competitive tender process on the basis of an economical and totally re-usable accommodation design solution. The project included portal frame structures to house 4 fire tenders plus ‘portacabin’ type control, administration, messing and welfare facilities for a fully operational re service. All the structures were designed to be disassembled on completion and re-used elsewhere by the Fire Authority.
