J Coffey carried out the extension and refurbishment  of 11-15 Grosvenor Crescent. This listed building had suffered from years of unsophisticated intervention, and needed rejuvenation. Retention and strengthening of the existing structure was key to maintain the buildings historic element, while simultaneously adding value to the property carrying out a 3 storey basement excavation and 5 storey superstructure.

Other works included floor strengthening by insertion of new steel beams above retained and listed ceilings. Demolition of roof and modern floors and the erection of new steels. Demolition of internal walls.

This early 19th century Grosvenor Estate building now houses some of London’s most luxurious penthouses including a private swimming pool & gym facility.
